- 1Buy the books early on. It helps if you do so, books are cheaper early on, and you are at least aware of the topics.
- 2Have a careful look at the subjects. Check out the subjects which appear tougher and lengthier. Make a clear assessment of which subjects can be done within 5-6 days during the PL( preparation leave).
- 3Tackle the tough ones first, remember that way you can try to understand what is in the subject. From my own experience, the tough ones require more time to understand, but sometimes they are worth the effort.
- 4Do not think that you can get away with passing 3-4 subjects per semester.Once you get into the vicious circle of backlogs, it gets very tough to come out of it.
- 5Remember that all of the subjects are important. Of course, this is obvious. But, people sometimes devote too much time to one subject, leaving others out. E.g. Mechanics, maths etc. It is a wrong strategy. Giving too little time or too much time are equally bad.
- 6Try to do 1-2 units of at least 3 subjects before PL start. Believe me, the pressure in PL is enormous. You can't do all the subjects brand-new during PL. After all,PL are maximum one month.
- 7Lastly, have self confidence. There is a thin line of difference between 55% and 60%. With a little more hard work, anybody can do it
